Chuck, the frog, sat on a rock in the pond.
While he sat there, he did spot his pal, Nick the duck. Nick was stuck in a thick patch.
“Oh, no!” said Chuck, “I must help him!” Chuck must act quick.
Chuck did plan a trick to help Nick.
He gave a big yell.
He did stretch his back legs. Then he made a big jump.
He did push the thick muck. Nick gave his wet wings a big flap.
Chuck kept pushing. At last, Nick got unstuck.
Nick did quack, “Thank you, Chuck! You are the best pal.”
Chuck did grin. All Chuck’s pals at the pond did clap.
