“ECR is systematic and sequential, offering students many opportunities to develop much-needed automaticity in the lower primary grades. ECR engages students as it offers phonological awareness practice, phonemic awareness activities, decodables that use the skills that we are working on, and practice writing and grammar. Every step of BEST PRACTICE science of reading research is involved in EACH lesson and gives students opportunities for skill acquisition and mastery. We are excited to bring this into our district again this school year!”

“As a Dyslexic student, our son faced significant challenges with reading, and we knew he needed someone who truly understood his struggles. From the very beginning, Bonnie’s approach was both compassionate and skillful. Over the course of two years, under her expert guidance, he made astonishing progress, advancing four reading grade levels. This achievement would not have been possible without Bonnie’s dedication and her specialized understanding of Dyslexia and reading difficulties. I would recommend her without reservation to anyone seeking help with reading challenges.”

“I highly recommend the ECR program. It is an excellent multisensory structured literacy program that is aligned with Orton Gillingham standards and contains direct, explicit, sequential instruction and practice. It’s a complete program; there’s very little prep when I am getting ready for a lesson because it is all there. The program is colorful and visually fresh which keeps my students interested. A game is always included along with a variety of hands-on, engaging activities. My students have fun learning with ECR; it’s a great program!”

“My son’s educational journey faced significant challenges from early on, starting with struggles in preschool that persisted into kindergarten and first grade. It was only when a teacher noticed him writing his name backwards that dyslexia was mentioned. This program didn’t just teach him to read—it restored his joy and belief in himself. Now nearing twenty and in his final year of college, he credits The Learning Center for his success. As a parent, I can’t overstate how profoundly this program changed my son’s trajectory. Without it, I fear he wouldn’t have graduated high school.”
